About Me
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in San Francisco, specializing in psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I'm also a candidate in psychoanalytic training at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC). This is an intensive, multi-year training program required to become a certified psychoanalyst.
My approach is grounded in the belief that people are complex, that symptoms have meaning, and that real change requires more than symptom management. I work with adults and adolescents dealing with depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions, and identity concerns.
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Wright Institute and completed my internship at California Pacific Medical Center, and postdoctoral fellowship at Access Institute for Psychological Services. I worked extensively in community mental health settings before moving into full-time private practice, providing therapy and clinical supervision. I have also served as teaching faculty at Access Institute and in the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PPTP) at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis (SFCP). Before becoming a therapist, I worked for several years providing direct support for adults with developmental disabilities.
In our work together, you'll find that I listen carefully and create space for you to discover things about yourself that you may not have known. Whether we work together for months or years, my goal is to help you live more fully, relate more authentically, and understand yourself more deeply.
